Samsung today announced the BEATb M3510, a slider music phone equipped with dedicated audio features and an amplifier. The BEATs M3200 has a sleek MP3 player design. Besides music dedicated features, it offers an amplifier by B&O ICEpower as well as a stereo speaker to provide better sound quality.
With Digital Natural Sound engine (DNSe) from Samsung audio technology, the BEATs M3200 reproduces a genuine 3D sound and deep bass resonance. It offers natural sound effects that overcome limitations from standard headphones and mobile phone speakers.
With Auto EQ, the equalizer is automatically tuned to the best setting according to genre. Shazam's Find Music service can locate any song users want to listen to. By recording and sending a tune to Shazam server, they can track down and even purchase the song.
The BEATs M3200 come with 'Motion Play' feature, letting listeners control their music with a few simple motions. Consumers can play or pause music by tapping the handset. By flipping the device, the music is muted and automatically set to etiquette mode. Shaking the phone plays the next or previous song.
The BEATs M3200 features physical music control keys on the outside so users can play, stop, pause, fast forward or rewind music.
"The music phone market is one of the fastest growing areas in the mobile industry and still has potential to further grow," said Geesung Choi, President of Samsung. "Samsung plans to continuously strengthen its music phone line."
The Samsung BEATs M3200 will be available in October.
