| AT&T, the nation's largest telecommunications company, today released the Samsung A657, a rugged push-to-talk handset with an integrated flashlight built to withstand harsh conditions. The Dallas, Texas-based company said the A657 is certified to Military Standard MI-SID-810F, withstanding dust, shock vibrations, rain, humidity, solar radiation and altitude and temperature extremes. Its bar form factor easily mounts to a dashboard -- ideal for on-site businesses such as transportation, construction and maintenance. Users can get turn-by-turn directions with AT&T Navigator and track teams with Telenav Track and Xora Mobile Workforce Management tools. The handset also features a built-in flashlight to shines a light in tough work conditions. Additional features include AT&T Mobile Music and Cellular Video, Bluetooth wireless technology, a microSD card slot and USB 2.0 connectivity. | |
