Verizon Wireless today unveiled the LG Decoy, a multi-tasking slider with a built-in Bluetooth headset. Designed with a glossy mirror-like front and satin back finish, the Decoy is the world's first phone to have a detachable Bluetooth handsfree headset integrated into the design. The headset slips into the back for easy transport and charging.
The slider integrates a 5-way directional joystick to quickly navigate through the menu. It also has a built-in music player, 2.0-megapixel camera and camcorder and microSD memory port.
With high-speed 3G connectivity, the Decoy supports VCAST Music to download from over 2 million songs and VCAST Video to stream entertainment clips, sports highlights, breaking news, weather and more.
VZ Navigator uses GPS to get visual and audible directions to thousands of destinations. So travelers can locate businesses and other points of interest, get maps of locations, and share directions with others.
The Decoy offers applications, downloadable games, music and other content to enhance customers' lifestyles, said Mike Lanman, Chief Marketing Officer of Verizon Wireless. "By unveiling these devices now, we are giving our customers the opportunity to choose the device that's right for them."
The LG Decoy will be available in Verizon Wireless stores on July 16.
