Sony Ericsson today unveiled the C903, a 5.0-megapixel camera phone with Face Detection and Smile Shutter technology to automatically take the best picture possible. 
The Japanese cell phone maker said the C903 uses Face Detection to find up to three people in the frame. Then Smile Shutter picks out smiles and captures the photo.
Users can also automatically snap up to nine images in a row and pick the best one.
With aGPS, photos can be "geotagged" with location coordinates so users have a memory of where images were taken.
The C903 can share photos on its auto-rotating 2.4-inch display or on a TV screen using the TV-out function.
"The C903 adds a creative and stylish mobile phone to our mid-range segment," said Daniel Sandblom, Global Business Marketing Manager at Sony Ericsson. "The C903 Cyber-shot furthers Sony Ericsson's digital camera heritage and makes capturing special images even more memorable."
The Sony Ericsson C903 will be available in selected markets in the second quarter in the colors Lacquer Black, Techno White and Glamour Red
