South Korean phone maker Samsung today unveiled the Jet, the world's fastest touch screen smartphone. The company said the Jet runs on an 800MHz processor -- the fastest for a touch screen device.
It also has a large and vivid 3.1-inch touch screen display. The WVGA AMOLED screen provides a resolution that is four times higher than a WQVGA screen and shows up to 16M-colors.
The smartphone uses Samsung's TouchWiz 2.0 user interface with new features such as intuitive 3D media gate UI and motion-response UI, smart unlock and a customizable widget screen.
The Dolfin Web browser lets users surf the net and access popular websites, especially social networking sites.
Other features include a 5.0-megapixel camera, built-in GPS, DNSe & SRS Sound Effect technology for superior sound quality, and DivX and XviD video support for video downloading and viewing.
